With continued mandates for social distancing, online course delivery, and virtual meetings, it is important that WiSE faculty, postdocs, and students embrace technology and practices for online interpersonal communication. Through this training, participants gained confidence in hosting and attending meetings.

Service: Design and delivery of a 15-week course with synchronous and asynchronous components
15-week course providing faculty with real-time coaching and guidance in best practices for designing and delivering online courses. Key themes included instructional design principles for online course delivery, student engagement strategies and techniques, and building community in the virtual space.

Created a 3-part webinar series for their StoryLab Science Communication Training Program focused on technology and tools for online communication, creating and establishing an online presence, and preparing and rehearsing before live sessions.
